Happy (almost) 4th of July!
I love Independence Day... the picnics or barbecues, the parades, the patriotic songs, and of course, the FIREWORKS! I have tried for years to capture fireworks on "film" ("capture on my memory sitck" just doesn't have the same ring! lol!), but time and again have failed dismally. Well, after reading this article by Dave Johnson, I have high hopes for this year's photos!
But first, a couple of, erm, fizzled attempts...
And those are two of my best from last year.
I'd love to see your fireworks photos! Take up the challenge-- read the article, take better pictures, upload to your blog or favorite photo site, and post a link here to share! Better yet, get those photos printed right away and scrapbook them... even if they're duds like mine! *grin*

How to Photograph Fireworks

Done right, fireworks photos are dynamic and colorful, and they convey a sense of action better than almost any other kind of still image. Read on to learn how to capture some exciting fireworks photos of your own this summer.
