I had planned on using one of the black cards for a swap I'm in... but decided against those. I wanted something simpler... not only in the interest of time... well, ok, it was mostly in the interest of time! lol!
Anyway, I began thinking that I could emboss the Gold Encore... that would keep it from smearing so easily while I mass-produced, and it would certainly be faster than using the heat gun to simply dry the Gold Encore ink. I came up with the Vanilla-White-Gold combo (well, ok, I didn't come up with it... but I saw it so many places that I knew it would be perfect) and then embossed with clear. Well, it turned out that my clear had a bit of Iridescent Ice in it, which made the piece I embossed sparkle just a tiny bit, which got me wondering how it would look done *totally* in Iridescent Ice. While it's difficult to see the sparkle in the pictures, I must say it's GAWJUS in real life! The Iridescent Ice (I've misspelled that each time I've typed it so far! lol!) makes the gold ink match the gold card stock sooo much better-- that brushed gold has a LOT of shimmer in it. Anyway, here's my card... enjoy!
