I often put my photos into Microsoft Publisher to crop them to the correct size before printing them out. Well, as I was doing so for this layout, I decided I may as well try my hand at digiscrapping. Publisher doesn't have all the cool bells and whistles (ok, it has almost none of the bells and whistles *wink*) that Photoshop has... but it's familiar (I've been using it for over 10 years) and it has enough for what I wanted to accomplish.
I downloaded a slew of Summer Driggs' gawjus digi kits and selected "papers" from her Relax kit as well as a grunge white overlay from her Memories kit. Did I mention Summers kits are free? And gawjus? Well, they are both. *wink* (Man, I need to get one of those uber-cool smilie programs.)
I also downloaded a kit by Marie Stones (and I'll be back for more). The "brads" are from her kit, Friends & Family.
